Straight to the semi

Women’s football 1s are through to the semis of the cup after Reading 1s couldn’t field a team.

Here’s the great goal scored by Pepper at Varsity.

Tough day at the office for Men’s Football 1’s

Men’s football 1s lost 4-1 to Brunel 1s in their cup quarter final with a mix of an awful pitch and an awful ref.

Captain Ollie Mentessi said: “It was an unfortunate loss away from home in the cup quarter final.

“Injuries from Varsity meant that we were down to a squad of 13 making it a tough fixture against a higher league opponent even tougher.

“Ultimately Brunel were the better side, but we gave it our all and a first official goal for Louie Debnam since moving up from the 3s.

“We move on now to try and win the league title.”

Varsity meets BUCS

American Football’s game between Kent at Varsity also counted as their game for BUCS.

The result ended 20-0 to Kent.

Narrow Cup loss for Men’s LAX

Men’s Lacrosse lost 6-4 against Reading in the quarter final in what was described as a mud bath.

Captain Paddy Gilbert said: “Tough and very muddy game against a good side.

“Everyone put in a great effort but sadly the result didn’t go our way.”
