Police have cordoned off a footpath between Military Road and Northgate in Canterbury after a reported assault on teenage boy.
Kent Police confirmed they were called at 1.04pm today to a report of an assault on a teenager.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Kent Police was called at 1.04pm on Sunday 3 December 2017 to a report of an assault on a teenage boy on a pathway between the Military Road and Northgate roundabouts in Canterbury.
“The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
“A 19-year-old man of no fixed address and a 14-year-old boy from the Canterbury area have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently in police custody.“
A police community support officer at the scene said: “I believe it was an assault.
“It happened some time today.”
