7 things to do in Canterbury this Christmas

There’s loads going on this Christmas in Canterbury, Whether you want to watch the local pantomime or enjoy the festive shopping there is something for you.

Canterbury’s festivities are having a revamp this year with an extended Christmas market and for the first time ever an ice rink.

New for 2017 Canterbury will be getting its very own ice rink. It will be in Dane John Gardens by the bandstand and special care has been taken to minimise the damage to the grass.

Whitefriars has again been taken over by 50 festive cabins selling Christmas goodies you won’t normally find on the high street.

Stalls selling everything from last minute gifts to mulled wine mean it’s a great place to find unique presents everyday until Christmas eve.

Dogs Trust Canterbury Christmas Fair

Dogs Trust are holding a fundraising event at Swalecliffe Community Cantre on Sunday, December 3 with a load of stalls and entertainment.
