Gain research skills through volunteering

Have you spotted the Library team’s #stressless campaign, in partnership with the Students’ Union?

There are loads of great activities designed to make your lives a little less stressful as exams and deadlines approach.  It’s through feedback from students that we are inspired to try new ways to support students and to make a positive difference to your experiences here.

The Library team are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve the experience of their users (aka. you, the students) and are currently seeking volunteers to help understand how students experience the online tool LibrarySearch.

By giving just a few hours of your time between 4th and 15th December 2017 (9 hours in total) to conduct research with students on the Canterbury campus, you can help to make some real improvements that will impact students across the University. It’s a great way to develop the following key employability skills:

  • Analytical/Research
  • Computer/Technical
  • Planning/Organising
  • Teamwork
  • Communication
  • Time management

You can log the hours online which count towards the Christ Church Extra Award
