How to look and feel good on a university budget
Let’s face it, it’s inevitable as a university student, money will be tight. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still look or feel the part.
Here are 6 tips that you definitely need to know:
Primark
It may not be your favourite place to shop but I’m telling you now, Primark will be your best friend. Accessible, fashionable and won’t leave you eating beans for the next week or two.
Swap and share
As you are getting used to your new university life, there’s no doubt you’ll make friends along the way. Swap and share clothes and outfit ideas with them, this way you are experimenting with different clothes as well as making your social connections stronger. Completely free too.
Money management
Budgeting is always a good idea. Limiting your spending every week could save you a fair amount of money, so by the end of the month, you’ll have a sum for yourself.
Work out
Exercise is key. Whether it’s joining the local gym or going for a run, it is a fundamental factor in making yourself feel better.
Hydration
Having a slightly healthier diet and drinking lots of water is the best cure. Granted, it may be difficult to stick to it and being able to afford it, but it really helps in the way you look and feel. It can help prevent sicknesses also.
Self love
Lastly and probably the most important tip for feeling the best you can, would be not giving a care in the world to what people think of you. You are beautiful in your own way.
