Unified’s Agony Aunts; Hafsa Hasan and Gemma Hubert will aid you with words of wisdom and comfort.
A little introduction to our Aunts…
Hafsa Hasan, Forensic Investigation and Bio-sciences student
Hobbies & Interests
I am not a person of habit so even if I’m uneasy, I can find comfort in change. This moves me onto my personal interests as they can vary from getting active with sports, to reading books like sand running through my fingers. I take great pride in my current and favourite interest turned business, of being professional Henna Artist.
As an Agony Aunt…
Favourite quote:
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” – Mike Tyson
Gemma Hubert, Psychology student
My name is Gemma and I am going into my 3rd year studying Psychology.
Hobbies & Interests
I chose Psychology as I would love to go into using music therapy as a treatment for Dementia. I am massively into music, but the old stuff: The Doors, The Smiths and The Beatles but with a soft spot for Noah and the Whale.
As an Agony Aunt…
Uni can be a difficult place, with problems arising that you’ve never had before, and after spending two years here I felt like having a resident Agony Aunt would be a great place for people to get advice. Whether it’s problems with housemates or your course, there will be something that can be done!
