UNIfied needs YOU: Questions needed for MP Julian Brazier

MP for Canterbury and Whitstable will be speaking to Journalism student and UNIfied writer Matthew Hills who is on the look out for suitable questions..

Here is a letter from Matthew…

Hi everyone,

I have organised an interview with the MP for Canterbury and Whitstable, Sir Julian Brazier.

If you have any questions you would like me to ask him about absolutely anything, feel free to send them in and I will put them to him. I have already prepared questions on his social views like gay marriage and abortion, and his greatest achievement in life.

I will also try to build a profile on him, in order to try to make him more relatable for students and younger people.

The meeting is on February 4 2017 so be sure to get the questions sent in to unified@ccsu.co.uk by Friday February 3 at 5pm.

Thanks,

Matthew Hills

Would you be able to ask him about his stance on drug policies in Canterbury and if there are any plans to introduce more drug prevention schemes in Canterbury, especially as there are plans to build more houses in the area to move families from London inner-city areas.

Please can you ask him what he is doing to support the National Health Service locally to recruit more staff and to support people with mental health needs in the area?
What is the Council’s policy on helping Canterbury’s homeless people with mental health needs and the local homeless population generally?
