Competition: A claim to local fishy fame

Canterbury Tails, a new traditional British Fish & Chips restaurant in the heart of the city is running a competition for all to enter.

The new restaurant opened on the 21st October and has not failed to get anything less than five star reviews.

It offers traditional, Ocean Wild fish – prepared in store and cooked with the “skin on” to retain the best taste. Then coated in a light, natural and additive free batter.

The business is running a competition to source new art works for the restaurant. In keeping with their “ethos of supporting local trade”, they’re asking for local photographers to submit images of local seaside or fishing themes. The images are to be in black and white and of high resolution for printing purposes.

To enter, you should submit your images to their Facebook page by 25th November – where they will announce and contact the winners the following day.

Here are a few of the entries so far:

The successful snappers will have their photos displayed with their details on the walls of the restaurant for all to see. Canterbury Tails say they will also celebrate the collaboration with the artists with a free fish ‘n’ chips!
